Women for High Bridge

Once again, we will be decorating the sidewalks with inspirational messages and art to welcome the High Bridge School students back to school. The kids LOVE to see all the messages and art as they walk to school the first day. The smile on their faces is enough motivation for our volunteers to continue this event each year. Won’t you join us this year? No artistic ability needed! We promise you will have fun doing it!

We will meet in the parking lot at the bottom of the Elementary School hill on Mine Road. We have the sidewalk chalk and the bags to carry the chalk. From there you will set out decorating the sidewalks between the Elementary School and Middle School. If we have enough volunteers, we like to cover Mill Street, portions of Main Street, part of the Columbia Trail leading to the Middle School, and Fairview Ave.

In the instance of rain in the forecast, the event will be cancelled. We have been very lucky weather-wise, so let’s hope for another rain-free night before the first day of school! We will see you out there!
